Immediately following Tisha B’Av, on Monday, August 15th, the disaster of destroying Gush Kativ is to befall our nation. An active, fervently praying and fasting Body of Messiah can prevent this. It is the Assembly of the firstborn from the dead, G-d’s children, who should make up the breach rampant sin and apostasy in the Land has caused. For we are under obligation to do the will of our Father on earth as it is done in heaven. 

Will the Body of Messiah awake and plead before the throne of G-d? Or will we keep on slumbering, staying happily in our comfort zone, seeking after our own interests and not after those of the Lord? 

It is NOT our Heavenly Father Who is allowing all this terror, the disengagement and road map. It is a slumbering Christianity allowing it, standing by passively, even siding with the very forces who seek to scatter, usurp and destroy²¹. Should we not have the Lord’s interests at heart and stand with His people, His land and city?

For the Holy One of Israel, whom this Christianity claims to serve, speaks very candidly, saying repeatedly, “I am exceedingly jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion. I am very angry with the nations that are at ease; for while I was angry but a little they furthered the disaster... I am jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I am jealous for her with great wrath…”²²  Again He declares emphatically, “I speak in my hot jealousy against the rest of the nations… who gave MY LAND to themselves as a possession with wholehearted joy and utter contempt, that they might possess it and plunder it. Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and say to the mountains and hills (Judea and Samaria), to the ravines and valleys, Thus says the Lord G-D: Behold, I speak in my jealous wrath, because you have suffered the reproach of the nations…”²³

Yes, the children of G-d should be the ones jealous for their heavenly Father, jealous for His Land and city, jealous for their Lord Yeshua's inheritance, jealous for His Covenant, His holy Name and oath! Alas, only a remnant identifies with G-d’s jealousy, while most are settled comfortably in their Christian doctrinal tracks, busy about their own programs the Lord did not ask of them²⁴.

Following is an excerpt of an e-mail sent to me on July 11, 2005 by a friend in Texas: 

“I'm glad we belong to a Baptist church who loves Israel. The Assembly of God is still in the right corner also. The Lutherans have followed the lead of the Presbyterians. I think the Episcopalians also. The whole National Council of Churches supports the Palestinians as well. No wonder Jews are suspicious of Christians!  It won't be long until grey won't exist anymore, only black or white.” 

“As Joshua said, ‘Choose you this day whom you will serve but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!’”²⁵

It is of this Christianity that our Lord spoke in²⁶. For while they say, “Lord, Lord!” and “Jesus, we love you!”, they have no inner connection with the very land to which their Lord shall return, nor any care for it. They come to visit some “holy shrines” if it is SAFE to do so, but embrace and support the claims of the Palestinians. 

Whoever does not love Jerusalem now shall not reign from her with Messiah. Whoever does not love His land now shall not inherit it. Those who fear for their lives because they might get killed in a terror attack while taking a stand as the Lord’s and Israel’s co-heirs, terror shall reach them elsewhere.

The apostle Paul cried, “TO LIVE IS CHRIST, AND TO DIE IS GAIN!”²⁷ He who does not take up his cross cannot be Yeshua’s disciple. He who seeks to save his life shall lose it, but he who loses it for His sake and the Gospel’s, and for the sake of His land, city and inheritance, he shall save his eternal life²⁸.

Indeed, it is NOT G-d Who is allowing wicked men to carry out their schemes and plans. It is a Christianity entrapped in her own doctrines, programs and interests, that fails to CHOOSE²⁹ STANDING WITH G-D, HIS MESSIAH, HIS PEOPLE, LAND AND CITY!!! By their passivity they allowed the Nazi Holocaust, with only a minute number of people (among whom were pastors, priests, monks and nuns) CHOOSING to risk their lives in order to save some of G-d’s people. 

Once again it is only a remnant from a vast sea of Christianity who elect to actively join with the people of G-d as genuine fellow-citizens and co-heirs. Fewer yet decide to come to Israel despite terror (from among those who can afford it), some even living and serving among us. These are the ones who have grasped the meaning of  “To live is Christ, and to die is gain!”

Even fewer are those who are willing to bear the anger and rejection of this Christianity when forcing her members out of their comfort zone, shaking their self-built foundations and jolting them awake in order that at least some of them may escape the outer darkness and not have their names erased from the Book of Life of the Lamb³⁰.

It is THIS Christianity that is being overcome by Islamic hordes because they surpass them in devotion to their faith in Allah, in their determination to expand his dominion across the whole globe. It is NOT G-d who is allowing this, but a weak, self-absorbed, cowardly Christianity, too happy with her Christian “routine” and “ritual” as to be willing to abandon it for Christ’s sake.
