Dear Friends of Israel and “Or Tzion”,
Shalom shalom from the South of Israel, where Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were encamped, where the people of Israel have their beginnings. There our now wholly united family lives as well, watching the times, poised to do His will. We see lawlessness increase and the love of many grow numb. Nevertheless we know the Lord reigning over all the affairs of man. He is our Rock and Refuge, a sure hiding place in times of troubles. May He keep you steadfast and immovable in a tossing sea of evil.
1Now Israel is facing another evil of a magnitude many fail to grasp its reality2. Once again I cannot understand why the people who have built their very existence upon faith in G-d’s covenant and promises are the ones to be uprooted and dispossessed. The urgent prayers of thousands seem not to move G-d to intervene. Yet outrageous gay parades are permitted in our streets, even in Jerusalem.
Formerly it were Gentile nations who expelled our people from their communities and dispossessed them, a frequent occurrence in Jewish history. Now we are confronted with it again — but this time by our OWN government! The best of our people of whom the Scriptures speak, “As for the godly men and women in the land, they are the true nobility [true Jews], in whose company I delight”3, are to be uprooted and dispossessed – NOT evacuated! – from our OWN land G-d gave us by divine covenant.
They are to be driven out — by our OWN soldiers and police! Therefore G-d will multiply their sorrows for choosing to obey man rather than God4.For the Holy One of Israel declared long ago that the reunited nation (Judah and Israel) shall “swoop down upon the SHOULDER of the Philistines/ Palestinians in the West”5 and posess it. The whole Gaza stip looks exactly like a “shoulder”.
Furthermore, the whole infrastructure built in 30 years is to be handed over to our enemies who hate us with never-ending enmity6Yas their price of victory for 4 years of terrorism.
This is utterly incomprehensible and outrageous! Democratic values have been cast aside! Instead, our government has adopted dictatorial measures to impose its will upon the people, even though an ever increasing majority is clearly against the Disengagement plan 7. Special jails have been prepared to confine opponents of the Plan who are being labeled “radicals” and “right-wing extremists” by the Media and Sharon’s stooges. The authorities have even created new facts on the ground in order to prosecute to the “full extent of the law” anyone resisting the disengagement. The army declared the whole Gaza strip a “military zone”, off limits for all civilians except for the local residents, to prevent them from joining the residents of Gush Kativ in support of their right to land, homes and infrastructure.

and perplexing beyond measure that our armed forces and police are under order against our own people.
When the call went out for a 3-day approved peaceful protest march to Gush Kativ, I decided to join. Six buses were slated for Beer-Sheva, yet none arrived8.
The police, in an unprecedented coup, stopped all buses that were to carry the marchers to Netivot, the designated starting point, and dragged the people off the buses. Sharon, in his now familiar pattern of breaking promises and agreements, declared the march illegal and gave orders to stop it. I decided to go by car and gave those still waiting a lift. Apparently thousands of others chose to do the same thing for the company of marchers numbered about 50,0009.We spent the afternoon in a big park10, listening to inspiring speeches by former Knesset members and the leader of the Gush Kativ community, led in prayer by a large presence of rabbis, and singing songs of faith and love for G-d, land and Torah, culminating with cries for Messiah and His reign. About 9 p.m. we set out on the march, unhindered by police and soldiers. Ever so often we encountered large numbers of soldiers and police forming a peaceful lane alongside the road, while helicopters kept circling overhead.
The marchers were of all ages, with whole families carrying their little ones in baby carriages, on their backs and in their arms, while young children, singing youth and young adults carried their own and others’ back packs, such as mine. Their only “weapons” were their faith, their love of land and people, their songs and dances. Never have I seen a nobler people with whom I had the privilege to march, helping and supporting one another, kind, caring and considerate.The first place where we were to spend the night was Kvar Maymon. Half way there the police stopped the march. They had prepared for us with 3 helicopters on the ground, lots of vehicles, mounted police and a cordon of soldiers and police holding hands all across a large field. One of the march’s leaders called upon us to sit down on the road, then he addressed us over megaphones with inspriring and encouraging words. Afterwards people rushed down into the field, hoping to make their way to Gush Kativ, but were held back by the human chain. Some of the youth managed to break through but police dragged most of them back.
We spent about 1 ½ hour in the field when suddenly the human cordon opened, letting us get back on the road to continue toward Kvar Maymon. We arrived about midnight onto a gigantic potato field, rows of restrooms with anti-septic tanks lining the field on both sides. As I looked over the field chock-full with sleeping bags and tents the people had put down on the hard-packed ground I realized why they let us move on to Kvar Maymon: it was much easier to contain the multitude there than all night long out in the open field.

As the date of disengagement14 is drawing nearer opponents have been employing more forceful means such as blocking major intersections nationwide to get the people to stop and listen, think and consider, and stand with their brothers and sisters of Gush Kativ and Shomron. As a consequence jails have begun to fill up with opponents to the Disengagement Plan.
But Arik Sharon is still in power!
The ever growing majority of the nation (including top brass, ministers and even Druze) is against disengagement — but Arik Sharon remains undeterred! He and his sons are under investigation for fraud and bribery, yet Arik Sharon still occupies the Prime Minister’s Office. Members of Knesset (Parliament) called for a non-confidence vote to topple Sharon’s government and bring in new elections — but the man has still managed to remain in power. Incessant prayers and intercession rise up to G-d to intervene — yet Sharon continues unhindered to betray our people, bringing upon us a new wave of terrorism more harrowing than the previous ones.
Why does G-d not answer our prayers? Has He stopped His ears to our cries? I keep reminding Him that He promised He would not deal again with our people as He did formerly15, but would save and heal us for His holy Name’s sake, keeping Covenant lest He should be profaned among the nations16.
Why are Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Al Aqsa Brigade terrorists, veritable human beasts, rewarded with the land, houses and infrastructure of Gush Kativ, meanwhile President George W. Bush vows to carry on the war on terror until terrorism is obliterated? Is G-D allowing all this??? Did HE allow the Holocaust? Is HE allowing the years of terror against Israel?
17It is George W. Bush’s double standard and the European Union’s bias for the Palestinians that forces the deportation upon the residents of Gush Kativ. The Media calls it “evacuation” (a word which implies the possibility of return such as after natural disasters) rather than expulsion, even though Gush Kativ is to be handed over to the PA, an organization of terrorists (not “militants”) who terrorize, rob and brutally murder not only Israelis but also their own people.
The Bush family (for their own oil interests) wants to keep “good relations” with the Saudi royal house, the main financiers of global, Islamic terror organizations. Hence Israel must pay the price for Bush/Saudi interests. George W. Bush claims to have “found G-d”, yet seems to be unaware of this G-d’s love for the land and people of Israel. Else he would not so adamantly inist upon implementing the “Disengagement Plan” and the “Road Map”18.
In distress I cried to G-d, “WHY, Abba, are You allowing these things to progress? Why???” The answer is even more distressing! Yes, so very discomfiting, that I feel quite sure when I tell it many will want to do to me what King Zedekiah did to Jeremiah19.
It is NOT G-d Who is allowing this disaster. It is a weak and passive church, too busy with her own interests and programs, who is allowing this evil plan to proceed. She chooses to remain silent and inactive, even siding with the very enemy of G-d and His people, out of ignorance or from anti-Semitism.
Saturday sundown, August 13th to Sunday sundown, August 14th, is Tisha B’Av, when throughout Israel and the Diaspora people fast, depriving themselves of any comfort, mourning, repenting, and making supplication, in commemoration of the major disasters that befell our people on that date (see “History of Events on Tisha B’Av”20.

Will the Body of Messiah awake and plead before the throne of G-d? Or will we keep on slumbering, staying happily in our comfort zone, seeking after our own interests and not after those of the Lord?
It is NOT our Heavenly Father Who is allowing all this terror, the disengagement and road map. It is a slumbering Christianity allowing it, standing by passively, even siding with the very forces who seek to scatter, usurp and destroy21. Should we not have the Lord’s interests at heart and stand with His people, His land and city?
For the Holy One of Israel, whom this Christianity claims to serve, speaks very candidly, saying repeatedly, “I am exceedingly jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion. I am very angry with the nations that are at ease; for while I was angry but a little they furthered the disaster… I am jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I am jealous for her with great wrath…”22 Again He declares emphatically, “I speak in my hot jealousy against the rest of the nations… who gave MY LAND to themselves as a possession with wholehearted joy and utter contempt, that they might possess it and plunder it. Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and say to the mountains and hills (Judea and Samaria), to the ravines and valleys, Thus says the Lord G-D: Behold, I speak in my jealous wrath, because you have suffered the reproach of the nations…”23
Yes, the children of G-d should be the ones jealous for their heavenly Father, jealous for His Land and city, jealous for their Lord Yeshua’s inheritance, jealous for His Covenant, His holy Name and oath! Alas, only a remnant identifies with G-d’s jealousy, while most are settled comfortably in their Christian doctrinal tracks, busy about their own programs the Lord did not ask of them24.
Following is an excerpt of an e-mail sent to me on July 11, 2005 by a friend in Texas:
************* “Yes, the Church needs to hear the Truth, now more than ever. We are ashamed that the Presybeterian Church has now boycotted Israel in their finances, and are being followed by Church of ChristU, and many others. It will seperate the true church from the false. They will receive the curses promised by God to those who curse Israel.”“I’m glad we belong to a Baptist church who loves Israel. The Assembly of God is still in the right corner also. The Lutherans have followed the lead of the Presbyterians. I think the Episcopalians also. The whole National Council of Churches supports the Palestinians as well. No wonder Jews are suspicious of Christians! It won’t be long until grey won’t exist anymore, only black or white.”
“As Joshua said, ‘Choose you this day whom you will serve but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!’”25
************* It is of this Christianity that our Lord spoke in26. For while they say, “Lord, Lord!” and “Jesus, we love you!”, they have no inner connection with the very land to which their Lord shall return, nor any care for it. They come to visit some “holy shrines” if it is SAFE to do so, but embrace and support the claims of the Palestinians.Whoever does not love Jerusalem now shall not reign from her with Messiah. Whoever does not love His land now shall not inherit it. Those who fear for their lives because they might get killed in a terror attack while taking a stand as the Lord’s and Israel’s co-heirs, terror shall reach them elsewhere.
The apostle Paul cried, “TO LIVE IS CHRIST, AND TO DIE IS GAIN!”27 He who does not take up his cross cannot be Yeshua’s disciple. He who seeks to save his life shall lose it, but he who loses it for His sake and the Gospel’s, and for the sake of His land, city and inheritance, he shall save his eternal life28.
Indeed, it is NOT G-d Who is allowing wicked men to carry out their schemes and plans. It is a Christianity entrapped in her own doctrines, programs and interests, that fails to CHOOSE29 STANDING WITH G-D, HIS MESSIAH, HIS PEOPLE, LAND AND CITY!!! By their passivity they allowed the Nazi Holocaust, with only a minute number of people (among whom were pastors, priests, monks and nuns) CHOOSING to risk their lives in order to save some of G-d’s people.
Once again it is only a remnant from a vast sea of Christianity who elect to actively join with the people of G-d as genuine fellow-citizens and co-heirs. Fewer yet decide to come to Israel despite terror (from among those who can afford it), some even living and serving among us. These are the ones who have grasped the meaning of “To live is Christ, and to die is gain!”
Even fewer are those who are willing to bear the anger and rejection of this Christianity when forcing her members out of their comfort zone, shaking their self-built foundations and jolting them awake in order that at least some of them may escape the outer darkness and not have their names erased from the Book of Life of the Lamb30.
It is THIS Christianity that is being overcome by Islamic hordes because they surpass them in devotion to their faith in Allah, in their determination to expand his dominion across the whole globe. It is NOT G-d who is allowing this, but a weak, self-absorbed, cowardly Christianity, too happy with her Christian “routine” and “ritual” as to be willing to abandon it for Christ’s sake.

Likewise the world and most of Christianity is getting caught in the net of those plotting their “global village” of a new world order while hiding away in the shadows. Soon the unattentive, the heedless, the careless and the rebellious will be so entangled in it they will not even struggle.
Satan is not concerned with an apathetic, blind Christianity. She poses no threat. Only two groups of people seriously trouble him: 1) the very alive and active remnant of the Body of Messiah, who keeps going about proclaiming the Gospel and standing with Israel as true co-heirs; 2) the Jewish people and their sovereign nation Israel, to whom Yeshua shall return. Satan is trying to prevent this by destroying them, or at least their sovereignty.
In view of these facts I urge you strongly to take the time to visit the pages of my newsletters (also those archived), and visit the linked web sites. Without wanting to appear boastful I dare say that these letters, together with the links, probably are the most informative on the Web, covering every aspect of today’s developments in politics, science, space, military, medicine, nature, and of course in the Middle East. The information, education and biblical insight provided by these newsletters is so vast it leaves no room for ignorance, unless one chooses to stay indifferent and rather get caught in G-d’s jealous hot wrath than to escape it.
The latest development in chiseling away at Israel’s sovereignty is the building of a gigantic U.S army base, 25 sq miles on the surface, in the heart of Israel. Rather than repeating the – confirmed – reports here, I post the links that take you to them as well as to the pictures taken of that base.
Barry Chamish’s web site (he is an investigative journalist) features photos of the army base taken by him, and the report about the base.
Jerry Golden, equally fearless and outspoken, reports about the U.S. base being built in Israel on his web site: “The Golden Report” 31. Click on the “American Base in Israel” and proceed reading and carefully looking at the photos as Jerry describes particulars in them. At the end of his report he writes, “It should also be noted that there are no US troops on this base at this time, but it is obvious that many soon will be.”
In April 2005 I received an e-mail from a trusted source of a Debka file about two independent reports by Israelis who on March 24, 2005 allegedly sighted a miles-long convoy of U.S. army trucks in the Negev. I cannot locate anymore the Debka file reporting on the incident, but “The Sierra Times” features an article by John Burke, “US Troops Take Position in Israel”32.
I placed the reports on the “backburner,” not finding any other sources to substantiate the report. HOWEVER – the emergence of this huge base would definitely confirm the sightings of the convoy as having been genuine. Yet neither Israel’s newspapers, TV- channels or radio stations reported on the sightings nor on the building of this base. This secrecy and total silence is most disturbing and gives room to the worst-scenario ideas. Hence, while watching closely ongoing developments I am comforted by the fact that it is no secret to G-d. He has the last Word, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, “MY counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish ALL MY purpose… I have spoken, and I will bring it to pass; I have purposed, and I WILL DO IT.”33
Accordingly “Jacob”, i.e. the nation of Israel will be “chief of the nations”34 for 1000 years35. Jerusalem will be a crown of beauty and a praise in all the earth36; while her King, Messiah Yeshua, will reign from her the nations with an iron rod37. But woe to all who are taking counsel together against the L-RD and His anointed nation and her Messiah to throw off their restraining cords, seeking to destroy Israel in order to prevent the King’s Return. Woe to those who do not recognize the signs of the times, refusing to love the truth and therefore making the wrong choices. Woe to the hypocrites, for the Lord shall assign them a place in the outer darkness, where there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth38. Woe to the cowards, the faithless, and ALL liars, for the Lord shall assign them to the lake of fire39. But blessed shall be everyone who seeks G-d’s will, Kingdom and righteousness first, and walks in obedience, with all love, faith, hope and trust.
Let us be awake and alert that we may have the power to escape the coming trials and wrath for we do not know the day or the hour…
