TWO ISRAEL ASSIGNMENTS – THE REPORTS
Before I start these reports of what we did, illustrating it with many photos, I want to make this absolutely clear: none of this would have happened, none of this would have been possible, apart from God, the Holy of Israel who is of a triune nature (see Logo Story), the God of all the earth, the omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent Melech HaOlam, King of the universe. It is He Who gave the assignments, with detailed instructions and explaining, declaring His purpose for it according to His perfect will and as recorded in the Scriptures, spoken ages ago through His prophets.
None of all of it was my idea. It is He Who said that the time has come to heal His Own Land from the many wounds and bruises done to it, and to His people. It is He Who marked the places where we were to stop, places who have a history of bloodshed, of battles, of having been robbed, ravaged, raped, to pray into our shofars the Word prayers His Holy Spirit had given us by me, to release, decree and establish this healing. This took place between Pesach and the Memorial days, as well as the Islamic holiday of Ramadan, a timing purposefully chosen by the Father. Due to human shortcomings and the terror raging during Ramadan, we did not get to Nazareth, Afula, Megiddo, Bethlehem and Hebron. God may possibly want us to still go to these places.

For the Healing of the Land assignment we were a team of 8. I rented a Hertz 7-seater but on April 15th at the Ben Gurion airport I was given a 9-seater. It turned out that this was exactly what we needed. It was to be a 2-day undertaking, hence needed an overnight stay in Jerusalem. During this high season of holidays to reserve a place for 12 persons was an impossibility. Indeed, I was firmly denied any reservation at the Luth Guesthouse in the Old City of Jerusalem, Mark street 9, until the desk clerk remembered me, called the director, who also remembered me for suggestions I had made, and ordered that I be given what I requested. Without God’s intervention I would not have succeeded.

2- The Negev Blessing Journey Assignment

What was true for the Healing of the Land assignment, which was ordained and commanded by God and not my idea, proved true also for the Negev assignment, something so unusual I would never have thought of it myself. Once more, God gave precise instructions how to go about clearing and cleansing the Negev of its demonic occupants, to free it for the speedy development of infrastructure that can receive hundreds of thousands of new immigrants. The Negev boasts 60% of Israel’s landmass yet is inhabited by only 8% of Israel’s population.
The original instructions given in 2019 (covid-19 restrictions prevented the tam to come to Israel) were for a team of 12 intercessors and 7 musicians, for which we would need 4 desert jeeps and their drivers. Fellow believers thought me crazy, deceived, having misunderstood God, and was told so, and even very firmly given a totally different and meaningless date. The owner of the desert jeeps, Yuval, remembered me from 2019 when I was already wanting to book his jeeps and drivers. He agreed to meet with me, but when I told him the plans of this 2-day assignment, he firmly rejected my booking. He was never going beyond the Eilat desert region. I did not give up because I knew God’s will and plan for it, and shared with Yuval what we were going to do. He suddenly changed his mind, looked with me at the map and where I wanted stops for the binding and praying, then even created a map for me with the stops in the Arava and the Midbar.
By faith I booked 4 jeeps with 4 drivers, to carry the team of 12 and 7 musicians. Now I needed to find a place in Mitspe Ramon where to spend the night. I never do anything or move without prayer. Where was our overnight stay? The Lord had me come immediately upon an interesting desert accommodation – Selina Ramon Clamping, a tent place pitched in the world’s largest crater, the Makthesh Ramon. It was totally booked out long in advance for the time of April 20-21, 2023, a very popular place. What’s more, a reservation for only one day, Thursday, was unacceptable, as all hotels in Israel reckon this as a 2-day weekend. Besides that, there would be absolutely no place for 23 persons. My request was repeatedly and very firmly rejected until – the Lord gave me a different person to talk to. She called the company, and God made the impossible possible. She obtained permission for the reservation of only Thursday, in the remaining few luxury tents (as all other tents were taken), into which they would add comfortable mattresses to accommodate 23 persons. And I was given a very acceptable payment plan.
God had commanded me to carry all of the costs for both assignments as He wanted to prepare a table before the teams who would believe, trust and obey Him. I was stepping out of the boat, especially needing to make down payments to Yuval. Moreover, I did not have an apostle with us now, as my apostle son, William T. Hodge, who was part of the team in 2019, now suddenly decided that this was not his timing, that God had not told nor confirmed to him to be on these assignments. He was being blinded by his newest, now 5th ministry, which had been taking off the ground, obscuring his vision of God’s plans for him relating to Israel.
In answer to my prayer for a male presence the Lord prompted a brother who is an intercessor and whom I knew for several years. He prayed and felt confirmed to join us. Praise God, we had a male, Israeli Messianic with us. Although because of him we failed to make the stops at Nazareth, Afula and Megiddo, he was a very good driver and followed the praying instructions. However, due to the conflicts between him and me he quit the Negev assignment. But God did not get short-handed. Like with Gideon, he reduced the team of 12 to 6, among whom was a Christ-like male believer, my faithful helper and assistant, and we totally accomplished all of His purpose.
The Negev assignment turned into an awesome, unforgettable experience I am illustrating with a lot of photo. Only God alone could and did make this possible. All I did was believe, trust and obey, but without His favor, intervention and provision, none of this would have happened. All glory, praise, honor and thanksgiving goes to Him alone, this most holy and wonderful, only, eternal God of a triune nature – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Hallelujah! Amen and Amen.
